It All Started at Filipino Club
We met in college in 2017 at a TCNJ Barkada Filipino Club game night. A few months later, a mutual friend invited Jill to a small group that Josh was co-leading. During finals season before winter break, Josh sent his first text - “jillwearsthings” - and from there, our story really began. Over winter break, Josh visited Jill at Charlotte Russe, and what started as a few dates quickly turned into something more. On January 10, 2018 after Cast Iron Pot with friends, we made it official in some random parking lot.
Refined Through the Journey
Over the past eight years, our journey hasn’t always been easy or perfect. We’ve stepped on each other’s toes, faced challenges, and grown in ways we never expected. Through it all, we’ve seen God work in and through us - teaching us where we fall short and how to love each other more deeply. We move forward with confidence, knowing He will be with us every step of the way.
